Raja Alfons Kono of Miomaffo (or Amakono)

The Raja whose principality was very important before, has always been active in politics the last decades.

He studied in Java and worked there for a while, where he met his part Dutch wife (a part member of a regent dynasty in East-Java).

He functions more as a local politician, then as a Raja, so you hardly see him in traditional Raja clothes during important traditional events.

This very kind raja is one of the best educated Rajas of West Timor and President of the Reformis Party.
